
After achieving separate Statehood to Telangana, leader of the region are now aiming to achieve special status to the new State on the lines of Seemandhra.

It looks like Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao has more or less dropped the idea of merging his party with the Congress.

The Seemandhra Congress leaders, who till the other day were lobbying for the Chief Minister post in the wake of Kiran Kumar Reddy’s resignation, welcomed the imposition of President’s Rule in the State on Friday.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi will not get more than 10 assembly seats in the next elections, if it does not merge with the Congress and contests independently.

With Telangana becoming a reality and the two eyed policy almost leading to zero result, the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has started a new game. He is saying he will make Seemandhra into Singapore and has begun his growth and development mantra once again.

Injustice after injustice continues to be perpetrated against the Seemandhra people. Union Minister Jairam Ramesh has further stoked the raging fire of the Seemandhraites by stating that the entire revenue of Hyderabad will go to the Telangana region.
